Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Product Realization Team Lead to develop a ferroelectric neutron generator (FENG) for the W87-1 modernization. You will guide a multi‑disciplinary team, coordinate with the W87-1 team, and present technical updates, budgets, and risks to the customer.

Onsite work is required and collaboration spans production and design within Neutron Generators and Energetic Components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Five years of directly relevant experience or equivalent.
• Active DOE Q-level Security Clearance or equivalent; willingness to obtain Sigma 15 access.

Responsibilities

• Lead a technical team with diverse backgrounds to deliver a design meeting performance, schedule, and cost goals.
• Coordinate with weapon system engineer and program managers to report status and risks.
• Develop and monitor budgets, schedules, and use EVM to support the W87-1 program.
• Ensure documentation supports design decisions and interact with customers regularly.
