Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories seeks an experienced R&D Senior Manager to lead the Stockpile Engineering & Nuclear Deterrence Product Realization Group (2210). Onsite, you will drive modernization and sustainment across Mk21 Fuze, W76, W88 Alt 370, and related programs with cross-disciplinary teams and external partners.

The role requires DOE Q clearance, 10+ years in a systems organization, and a proven track record in NSE product delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and advanced degree (MS and PhD) in relevant STEM field plus ten years of directly relevant experience.
• Five or more years of demonstrated leadership and/or management experience.
• Active DOE Q clearance or equivalent with the ability to obtain and maintain Sigma 15 access.
• Leadership experience in nuclear weapon design, production, and/or stockpile stewardship.
• Experience working with NSE product delivery and sustainment.

Responsibilities

• Lead managers and staff across multiple technical domains to ensure effective delivery of Sandia products and services.
• Engage with customers and collaborate with peers across the NSE and DoW, USAF, Navy, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain integration with Sandia organizations to anticipate and resolve product realization challenges.
• Guide technical efforts and strategic direction in alignment with mission priorities.
