Job summary

H&R Agri-Power is seeking a Service Technician in Kentucky to diagnose, maintain, and repair farm equipment. The role emphasizes advanced technical knowledge and responsibility for ensuring customer satisfaction and safe, efficient operations.

The position offers hourly pay based on experience, with quarterly performance bonuses based on results. You will work with a team to complete tasks on schedule and keep customers informed throughout the service process.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience as a Diesel/Heavy Equipment Tech.
• Heavy Equipment or Diesel Tech degree preferred, but not required.
• Agriculture experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and identify mechanical defects on farm equipment.
• Determine appropriate vendor, access manuals and procedures for repairs.
• Repair and/or replace components of diesel engines, hydraulics, AC, electrical, suspension, and drivetrains.
• Perform mid-level and advanced repairs to return equipment to full operation.
• Perform periodic maintenance and fluid checks to keep equipment in optimal condition.
• Keep customers updated on prices, repairs, and timeframes.
