Job summary

H&R Agri-Power is seeking a Service Technician to perform mid-level and advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on farm equipment to satisfy customers. You will work with diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical and suspension systems, and drive trains to return equipment to peak operation.

Applicants should have 3+ years in diesel/heavy equipment tech, high school diploma, and a willingness to work as part of a team. Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience as a Diesel/Heavy Equipment Tech.
• Heavy Equipment or Diesel Tech degree preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and identify mechanical defects on farm equipment.
• Retrieve manuals, schematics, and procedures to determine repair scope.
• Analyze and comprehend technical manuals, schematics, drawings, procedures, and gov't regulations.
• Repair components of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical and suspension systems.
• Carry out mid-level and advanced repairs to restore equipment to full operation and satisfy customer needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and document repairs per standards.
