Job summary

Hutson, Inc. in Princeton, KY seeks a Full-Time Technician to perform advanced diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance on large agricultural and turf equipment.

You will work with customer and dealer-owned machines and participate in the Hutson Service Business Model to continually learn and apply best practices. Responsibilities include diagnostics, repairs, AMS products, completing reports, and keeping tools, vehicles and inventory in good condition.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.
• Ability to perform basic to advanced repairs using manuals and tools.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment.
• Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions.
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
• Ability to work individually or with a team.
• Detail oriented.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.
• Valid DOT Medical Card is required (road technicians only).
• Forklift certification (nice to have).
• Respirator certification (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced diagnostics and repairs on large agricultural and turf equipment and AMS products.
• Participates in Service EDUCATE Training programs for skill development.
• Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
• Keeps a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Completes all reports and forms required with work assignments.
• Accounts for all time on a time card and for all materials used.
• Supports management in pursuing corporate policies, plans, goals, and long-term objectives.
