The role requires a Master’s degree in social work, at least three years in social work, and familiarity with child welfare or juvenile justice systems. Strong collaboration with diverse providers and reliable transportation are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related area from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of three years’ experience working in the social work field.
• Experience with juvenile justice or behavioral health systems preferred.
• Experience navigating the child welfare system and mentoring families.
• Experience working with diverse populations and collaborating with service providers.
• Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License and Auto Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Accurately document all case activities in the Florida Safe Families Network database within 48 hours.
• Maintain the physical case file in chronological order per standardized format.
• Provide clients with timely referrals to services.
• Develop knowledge of community resources, eligibility, contacts, procedures, and waiting lists.
• Maintain regular contact with service providers and document progress in FSFN.
• Follow Florida statutes and court orders in managing cases toward goals in case plans.
• Attend and participate in required staffing.
