Better Together seeks a Family Support Manager to lead the Better Families Program in the Tampa Bay region (Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas). The role involves evaluating needs, matching families with approved volunteer hosts, facilitating intakes, and developing life goals toward successful reunification.

Ideal candidates hold a human service degree and preferably an MSW; strong leadership, communication, organization, networking, and coaching skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social work or a related field preferred.
• MSW or equivalent experience working with vulnerable children and families.
• Child Welfare Certification from the Florida Certification Board is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess needs and strengths of families to guide temporary and permanent placement.
• Match volunteer families with help-seeking families and develop individualized support plans.
• Provide ongoing mentorship and coaching to families to ensure successful implementation of plans.
