Job summary

C&W Services is seeking a Lead Facility Maintenance Technician in Midland, TX. The role is the senior technical authority for building systems, leading maintenance teams across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and controls, ensuring safety and quality in daily operations.

The position requires extensive hands-on experience, leadership abilities, and a commitment to ongoing development of technicians while managing complex multi-trade issues and ensuring compliance across facilities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated hands-on proficiency across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, controls and mechanical systems.
• Proven experience as a technical escalation point for complex multi-trade issues.
• Experience training, mentoring and developing maintenance technicians.
• 7+ years in commercial or industrial oil field facility maintenance.
• 3+ years in a lead or leadership role.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; commercial license may be required.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Experience with CMMS.
• EPA 608 certification (state licensing a plus).
• High school diploma or GED; associate degree or technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and train maintenance technicians across all trades for skill development and safety.
• Perform quality inspections on completed work orders for safety and compliance.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex troubleshooting across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, controls, and mechanical systems.
• Guide root-cause analysis and corrective action with technicians.
• Assist onboarding and skill development for new technicians.
• Coordinate with Planner/Scheduler to scope and staff work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair building systems including equipment and machinery.
• Support installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
