Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Lead Facility Maintenance Technician to act as the senior technical authority for building systems across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and controls. You will train technicians, oversee daily maintenance operations, and drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

The role requires seven+ years in industrial/commercial facility maintenance with leadership experience, a valid driver’s license, EPA 608 certification, and CMMS/MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated hands-on proficiency across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, controls and mechanical systems.
• Experience as a technical escalation point for complex multi-trade issues.
• Ability to train, mentor and develop maintenance technicians.
• Minimum seven years in commercial or industrial oil field facility maintenance.
• Minimum 3+ years in a lead or leadership role.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; commercial license may be required.
• Proficiency in MS Office; CMMS experience; EPA 608 certification required.
• High school diploma or GED; diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and train maintenance technicians across trades.
• Perform quality inspections on work orders for safety and compliance.
• Serve as primary technical escalation point for complex troubleshooting.
• Guide root-cause analysis and corrective actions with the team.
• Support onboarding and skill development for new technicians.
• Coordinate with Planner/Scheduler to scope and staff work orders.
• Assist with installation/repair of building equipment and systems.
• Respond to emergencies and customer service requests.
