Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee a production facility and lead a team responsible for building operations and maintenance. The role covers a ~1 million sq ft site in the aerospace/defense sector, with typical hours Mon-Fri 7a-5p EST and on-call requirements.

You will supervise staff, manage schedules, coordinate repairs, manage budgets, and ensure safety compliance while maintaining client relationships and driving efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license required and Facility Management certification preferred.
• Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, and performance evaluation.
• Ability to guide sensitive information and manage expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees; monitor training and development and conduct performance evaluations.
• Schedule and manage daily activities; set schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
• Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
• Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
• Perform facility inspections; suggest operational improvements and upgrades.
• Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
• Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing; review quotes for parts, services, and labor.
• Deliver process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety.
