Job summary

Valley Hope of Norton seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician II to join the maintenance team. The role covers installing and maintaining building/plant equipment, along with emergency repairs and routine upkeep across patient rooms and common areas.

The position requires one year of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days). Flexible hours and on-call duties are possible.

Qualifications

• One year of maintenance technician experience including mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting and routine facility maintenance.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain building/plant equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance.
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders for maintenance tasks.
• Perform plumbing and carpentry tasks; remodel/maintain patient rooms and common areas.
