Job summary

Valley Hope Norton is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician II to join our on-site maintenance team in Norton, KS. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a focus on installing and maintaining building systems and equipment within a residential treatment setting.

Ideal candidates have one year of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).

Qualifications

• One year of maintenance experience including mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs highly diversified duties to install and maintain building/plant and equipment.
• Provides emergency/unscheduled troubleshooting and repairs of building/plant equipment.
• Performs scheduled maintenance and repairs on building/plant equipment.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Maintains and repairs facility grounds including yard maintenance and snow removal.
• Assists facility leadership in conducting safety checks and maintains documentation.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
