Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform continuous facility and equipment upkeep across hospital environments. You will troubleshoot motors, pumps, doors, HVAC, and patient care equipment, documenting actions in CMMS and coordinating with teams to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read blueprints and maintenance manuals.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in equipment maintenance.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Familiarity with CMMS and building automation systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility and equipment maintenance following codes and standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical systems and patient care equipment.
• Respond to emergencies and service requests promptly.
• Inspect and read blueprints and maintenance manuals to complete tasks.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and safety checks.
