Job summary

EKHO Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a Lead Fabricator (Working Lead) in King George, VA. The role supports daily fabrication and welding activities within the precast facility, reporting to the Plant Manager and coordinating with the Project Manager to meet production schedules.

The candidate will guide Fabricators and Helpers, review shop drawings, and ensure safety and quality. A hands-on lead role, with no direct supervision, emphasizing expertise and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training a plus.
• 4+ years of fabrication and welding experience in a precast/manufacturing setting.
• Strong ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient in MIG welding; certifications are a plus.
• Experience with oxy-acetylene cutting torch and standard fabrication equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on fabrication, welding, and modification of forms and components used in precast concrete production.
• Assign and coordinate daily work for Fabricators and Helpers based on direction from the Plant Manager.
• Review shop drawings and blueprints to ensure clarity and accuracy prior to fabrication.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.
• Partner with the Project Manager to understand project requirements, priorities, and timelines.
