Job summary

EKHO Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a Lead Fabricator (Working Lead) to support daily fabrication and welding activities in our precast facility. You will work under the Plant Manager and coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure work is done safely, accurately, and on schedule.

This hands-on role requires 4+ years of fabrication experience, proficiency in MIG welding, ability to read shop drawings, and the capacity to guide shop teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of fabrication and welding experience in a manufacturing or precast environment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient in MIG welding; certifications are a plus.
• Experience with oxy-acetylene cutting torch and standard fabrication equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on fabrication, welding, and modification of forms and components used in precast concrete production.
• Assign and coordinate daily work for Fabricators and Helpers based on direction from the Plant Manager.
• Review shop drawings and blueprints to ensure clarity and accuracy prior to fabrication.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.
• Partner with the Project Manager to understand project requirements, priorities, and timelines.
• Communicate production status, delays, or issues to the Plant Manager in a timely manner.
