Job summary

Caramá, part of the Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group, seeks an Expeditor to ensure efficient flow from kitchen to table. You will coordinate cooks and servers, verify plate quality and timing, and act as the final checkpoint before service reaches guests.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years in expeditor roles within upscale kitchens, with strong leadership and calmness under pressure in high-volume environments.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as an expeditor or similar role in an upscale or fine dining kitchen
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and a sense of urgency
• Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Working knowledge of kitchen operations and ticket management
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Manage the pass and ensure all plates meet quality, portion, and presentation standards
• Coordinate timing between kitchen stations and front-of-house teams to maintain service flow
• Confirm ticket accuracy, including modifiers, course pacing, and special requests
• Communicate clearly with line cooks, servers, and management to resolve timing or plating issues in real time
• Maintain a clean, organized expo station throughout service
• Assist with organizing to-go or VIP orders when necessary
• Act as the final quality checkpoint before food reaches the guest
• Support a high-energy, high-volume service environment with professionalism and poise
• Uphold Wolfgang Puck’s hospitality and brand standards with every plate and every guest
