Job summary

Bechtel seeks an Expediting Supervisor to oversee the delivery of supplier material and equipment on a 1.3 GW power generation project in the USA. You will lead a team of expeditors, review staffing, budgets, and production schedules, and forecast future needs to keep the project on track.

You will monitor supplier performance, manage data, coordinate with planning, and participate in project team meetings to address potential delays and optimize delivery timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree and 1013 years of experience or 1417 years of experience.
• Experience expediting complex, multi-location projects.
• Knowledge of expediting processes and supplier coordination.

Responsibilities

• Supervise expediting activities on a large, complex project.
• Direct expeditors to ensure timely delivery of material and data to support the schedule.
• Distribute workload according to expeditor skill and urgency of the work.
• Monitor supplier performance and guide compliance with policies and guidelines.
• Forecast staffing needs and coordinate assignments to meet project demands.
• Represent expediting in project team meetings.
• Coordinate data collection and reporting for the expediting group.
