Job summary

Opus Agency seeks an Event Technology Project Manager (platform delivery specialist) to lead and consult on small-to-medium scale in-person and digital events, managing registration and digital platforms for Fortune 100/500 clients.

You will supervise client communications, vendors, budgets, and schedules, ensure platform setup standards and QA, and deliver memorable experiences remotely across the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a relevant role; strong preference for corporate/events experience.
• Proven experience in registration management on events from discovery to execution.
• Experience with event technology platforms such as RainFocus, Swoogo, Stova, Cvent, Eventbase, Airtable; RainFocus preferred.

Responsibilities

• High-Volume Portfolio Oversight: manage a high volume of concurrent event technology projects for a key account.
• Event Technology Expertise: proficiency in platforms/tools, troubleshooting, platform demos, configuration best practices.
• Stakeholder and Project Leadership: primary client contact; lead meetings; align stakeholders; escalate issues when needed.
• Schedule and Intake Management: develop workback schedules for multiple concurrent projects.
• Technical Consultation and Requirements Gathering: translate client objectives into scope, requirements, specs.
• Technical Resource Delegation: direct configuration specialists in building/maintaining modules.
• Governance and Quality Assurance: uphold standards; perform user-acceptance testing.
• Process & Template Optimization: refine SOPs and templates for faster delivery.
• Risk and Issue Mitigation: identify scope/timeline risks; implement mitigations.
• Onsite Operations Oversight: manage setup workflows and logistics for on-site deployments when required.
• Additional Project Support: lead or support small to mid-sized projects.
• Administrative/Operational Support: participate in trainings and create resources.
