Job summary

Encore seeks an experienced Rigging Lead for hotel/convention center events in Dallas. You will supervise rigging teams, establish hang-points, and ensure safe, compliant operations during load-ins and load-outs. You’ll coordinate with clients and venue staff, maintaining high safety standards and following Encore SOPs.

The role requires hands-on rigging, crew supervision, and strong communication to ensure smooth production flows and event success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Onsite rigging experience is required; minimum 1+ year.
• Certified rigging qualifications with MEWP and ETCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advance, supervise, and execute event rigging plots as necessary.
• Gather and organize rigging tools and equipment per event needs.
• Coordinate and assign rigging tasks to crew and supervise truss build.
• Establish hang-points, attach to rigging points, and dress motor cables.
• Inspect hardware, ensure safety, and report issues to the Rigging Manager.
• Remain on site until motors are raised and client acknowledges completion.
• Act as liaison between rigging crew and venue client.
