Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Rigging Manager to oversee rigging operations across venues, ensuring safe designs, reviews, and approvals based on structural data. You will liaison with internal teams, clients, and sales, defining workforce needs and equipment requirements while ensuring team qualifications and SOP adherence.

The role requires 4+ years in rigging within entertainment or production, strong CAD/Vectorworks skills, and leadership abilities to manage on-site teams and coordinate safety

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; technical theatre degree preferred.
• 4+ years rigging experience in entertainment/theatre/production.
• Ability to interpret structural drawings and specifications.
• ETCP certification preferred; lift operations experience with current certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise riggers on show site based on event size and complexity.
• Identify staffing needs and aid recruitment efforts; develop a pool of part-time riggers.
• Provide training and performance management support for team members.
• Ensure compliance with Encore SOP and safety standards; coordinate with venue teams.
