Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Rigging Manager to lead rigging operations across venues, ensuring safe design reviews and compliance with SOPs. You will coordinate internal teams, clients, and sales while determining staffing and equipment needs.

The role requires ensuring all rigging staff are qualified and operations meet Encore standards. The position reports to Area/Regional Rigging Management and emphasizes safety, coordination, and collaboration to deliver successful events across assigned

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in Technical Theatre preferred.
• 4+ years rigging experience in entertainment or production.
• Ability to interpret structural drawings.
• 2+ years managing rigging teams (10+ riggers preferred).
• Lift operation with current certification.
• Harness rigging experience preferred.
• Proficient with CAD/load calculations software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise riggers on show site and plan staffing needs.
• Assist in training, career development, and performance reviews.
• Develop pool of part-time riggers for local/regional needs.
• Support training oversight for union workforce where applicable.
• Provide leadership and development opportunities for Rigging Services.
• Attend site visits to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Advise on best practices, safety requirements, and design feasibility.
