Placements24 is seeking an energetic Catering Supervisor to lead the service team during events. You will oversee day-to-day catering operations, coordinate staff, and ensure flawless service delivery and guest satisfaction.

Working with the catering manager, you will uphold high standards of presentation and food safety, train new staff, and help deliver memorable events in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Catering Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of event service standards and protocols.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure during busy events.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of catering staff during events.
• Ensure prompt and efficient setup, service, and breakdown of catering functions.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction throughout events.
• Manage inventory of service equipment and supplies, ensuring they are clean and well-maintained.
• Train new catering staff on service procedures, presentation standards, and food safety protocols.
• Liaise with clients on-site to address any immediate needs or requests.
