Encore Event Center in Strongsville, OH is seeking an Event Captain to lead the service team during events, acting as the main client contact and ensuring flawless guest experiences from setup to breakdown.

You will guide the team, coordinate with the kitchen, hold pre-shift briefings, manage timelines, oversee service areas, and ensure payments and space readiness for the next event. This full-time role includes a strong benefits package.

• Hold a pre‑shift meeting to go over the event timeline and special requirements with the team
• Serve as the main point of contact for the client, confirming timelines and assisting with any last‑minute requests
• Ensure the event runs smoothly by overseeing cleanliness, table bussing, and bar service
• Monitor the event room, ensuring guests are attended to and needs are met promptly
• Oversee the breakdown of the event, ensuring all equipment is stored, payments are collected, and the space is ready for the next event
