Encore Event Center is seeking an Event Cook to join our Strongsville, OH kitchen team. You will lead food preparation, ensure safety and quality, and support seamless event execution. This role is part-time with potential to grow into full-time for top performers.

Ideal candidates have proven kitchen experience, strong time management and communication skills, and a solid understanding of food safety and sanitation. Willingness to learn and adapt to fast-paced events is essential.

• ServSafe certification is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Execution

• Food Preparation and Serviceset by company operational procedures
• Monitor food temperatures, taste, and presentation
• Multi taskwhen prepping for volume

Quality Control

• Implement waste-reduction strategiestomaintaincost control
• Resolve any food quality or presentation issues quickly and effectively

Customer Service & Event Coordination

• Communicate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service execution
• Respond to client and guest feedback with professionalism
• Uphold the highest standards of food service and guest satisfaction

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in a similar role, experiencewithin a high-volume kitchenis preferable
• Strongsenseoftime management, and communication skills
• Deep knowledge of food preparation, safety, and sanitation standardsbut also willingness to learn new techniques and standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, event-driven environment
• Ability to work independentlywith instructionand alsoas a team
• Part time, but can lead into full time for candidates proven ability to be a part of a growing team
• Available weekends mainly and early evenings.
• ServSafeCertified is a plus
