Blattner Company is seeking a detail‑oriented estimator to lead the bid and proposal process for renewable energy projects. You will review plans, drawings and specifications, prepare accurate time, cost and labor estimates, and manage vendor quotes to ensure competitive, complete bids.

Responsibilities include sequencing projects, developing schedules, issuing RFPs, and evaluating bidders to select the most technically and commercially responsible option. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifikationen

• 4-year degree in Construction, Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years progressive experience in renewable construction estimating or 4+ years in non-renewable construction estimating.
• Up to 25% travel is required.

Aufgaben

• Lead the estimating process and ensure proposals meet technical and RFP requirements.
• Review plans, drawings, specs and vendor proposals to develop accurate time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotes and related documentation; align scope, schedule and bid pricing.
• Develop level one schedules and determine crew size, resources and productivity.
• Issue RFPs to qualified vendors/subcontractors and evaluate bids for best technical and commercial option.
