Job summary

Sundt Enterprise is seeking a Senior Estimator in Irving, TX to lead preconstruction estimating with minimal oversight. You will serve as the primary contact with design teams and owners, develop conceptual estimates, and coordinate bid strategies across trade scopes.

The role requires 10+ years in estimating, a four-year engineering degree, and LEED/DBIA credentials preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential and mentoring staff is expected.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of experience in an estimating role.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• Four-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
• LEED accreditation and DBIA certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Capably performs basic estimating functions including quantity takeoff and pricing development for all trade work.
• Develops conceptual estimates for review by senior personnel.
• Leads preparation of estimating documents/deliverables with minimal oversight.
• Performs advanced estimating tasks for hard bid pursuits, coordinating constructability reviews and indirect costs.
