Job summary

Lithko Contracting in Nashville is seeking an Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will support the Estimating staff and Pre-Construction Lead with estimating, take-offs, pricing, and bid preparation for commercial and industrial projects.

Responsibilities include setting up estimates with correct alternates and pricing, performing concrete take-offs, and providing detailed project data to operations. Bachelor's degree in CM/Engineering and strong MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with structural concrete estimating preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Must have good organizational and communication skills.
• Experience in estimating for a Self-Perform General Contractor or Concrete Contractor is a plus.
• Experience with a variety of project types with emphasis on Commercial/Industrial preferred.
• General knowledge of construction principles required with projects over $1M.
• Knowledge of negotiated bids and hard bids.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Sets up an estimate to include correct alternates, general conditions, vendor and subcontractor pricing, labor rates per bid strategy.
• Conducts a take off by owning all items from take-off software and quantifying concrete scope items.
• Provide accurate project information to operations during turnover and planning phases.
• Ensure detailed information is communicated to operations for execution planning.
