Thalle Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a Lead Estimator to head the estimating team for heavy civil projects in Texas. You will drive the complete bid lifecycle, starting from drawings and specs through final bid submission, coordinating with procurement and operations.

The role requires strong leadership, 10+ years in heavy civil estimating, and proficiency in HCSS, Agtek, Revit, Rhino, and Microsoft Office. Some travel and US work authorization are expected.

• Expert knowledge of heavy civil estimating processes (earthwork, concrete, utilities).
• Ability to direct full-scope estimates and lead an estimating team.
• Strong risk and opportunity analysis and technical narrative writing.

Mansioni

• Lead estimating team to roll out and execute the entire estimate deliverable process.
• Analyze drawings/specs to confirm documentation and scope.
• Develop full-scope estimates for Bid-Build, Design-Build, CM/GC.
• Analyze bid documents, identify risks and opportunities, report to management.
• Organize bid team and provide leadership on methods, schedule, and strategy.
• Participate in technical proposals for alternative-delivery projects; write technical narratives.
• Provide detailed quantity takeoffs and develop unit costs, crew, and production estimates.
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor pricing; maintain subcontractor database; coordinate SMWBE with Procurement.
• Track actual vs estimated costs and maintain historical data.
• Initiate DOR with Proposal team to develop bid documents.
