Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Estimator/Cost Manager to act as the key client interface on large construction programs. You will deliver disciplined, value-added commercial and cost management services across complex, schedule-driven projects, including EV charging and fleet-support infrastructure in campus environments.

The role supports design and construction with cost planning, forecasting, and governance, while collaborating with owners, designers, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience delivering cost management services on medium to large construction projects.
• Background in construction consultancy or client-side cost management is preferred.
• RICS accreditation or progress toward chartership is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary day-to-day commercial interface with the client during design and construction.
• Provide cost planning, estimating, and forecasting services, including cost plans at milestones.
• Establish and maintain robust cost control, change management, and governance processes.
• Estimate, review, negotiate, and manage change orders throughout the lifecycle.
• Review contractor pricing for accuracy and value, leading negotiations as required.
• Carry out cost-to-complete forecasting, cost variance analysis, and post-contract QS activities.
• Prepare funding data and reporting materials for stakeholder review.
