Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Engineer to support the delivery of large-scale capital construction, renovation, workplace, laboratory, and industrial projects. This role will serve as a key client-facing resource, providing cost management, commercial oversight, and project controls support throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in cost engineering, cost management, or project controls within construction.
• Experience leading cost management on medium to large-scale construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate change orders and support commercial management throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Prepare cost plans, estimates, and budgets with presentations to stakeholders.
• Reconcile cost changes and review pricing for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with project teams and client stakeholders to prepare cost reports and forecasts.
• Support cost validation, benchmarking, and value engineering activities.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.
