Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator/Cost Manager to act as the key client interface on large, mission-critical construction programs. This role requires delivering disciplined, value-added commercial and cost management services across complex, schedule-driven projects in the SF Bay Area region.

You will lead cost planning, forecasting, change control, and final accounts, collaborating with project teams and stakeholders to ensure objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–7+ years of cost management or quantity surveying experience in construction.
• Experience delivering cost management on medium to large, complex projects, preferably campus-scale.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary day-to-day commercial interface with the client during design and construction.
• Provide cost planning, estimating, and forecasting services with milestone cost plans.
• Establish and maintain robust cost control, change management, and governance processes.
• Review pricing, negotiate change orders, and manage cost-to-complete forecasting.
• Prepare funding data, executive cost presentations, and reporting materials for stakeholders.
