Job summary

Qualifications

3+ years estimating experience
Experience with commercial general contracting
Proficiency in reading drawings and specs
Ability to mentor estimating staff
Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

Prepare cost estimates for bids and negotiated proposals for commercial construction projects.
Manage estimating activities and coordinate with subcontractors and project teams.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and advise on value engineering.
Prepare quantity takeoffs and material cost summaries.
Incorporate schedules, logistics, and phasing into estimates.
Collaborate with operations to improve project profitability.
