Turner Construction Company in Houston is seeking a detail-oriented estimator to prepare detailed estimates from drawings and specifications. You will assemble bids for Lump Sum, GMP, and Cost Plus contracts and lead post-bid reviews.

You will manage project documents, coordinate with trade partners, architects, and clients, and support constructability reviews with cost-saving analyses. This role includes mentoring junior staff and ensuring timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field and 3+ years of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, and schedules.
• Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Prepare detailed estimates from drawings and specs, including quantity take-offs and analyses.
• Assemble bids for Lump Sum, GMP, and Cost Plus contracts and lead post-bid reviews.
• Manage project documentation and distribute information to stakeholders.
• Liaise with trade partners, design teams, and clients as the primary contact.
• Support constructability reviews and develop value analysis studies.
• Gather trade proposals, evaluate scope, and coordinate with the project team to close gaps.
• Supervise junior estimators and interns as assigned.
