Job summary

EWI Recruitment seeks an experienced Senior Manager, Estimating to lead the estimating function across a diverse portfolio of projects in the United States. You will develop accurate, competitive estimates from early opportunities through to contract award, providing strategic direction and governance to estimating teams.

You will work with project delivery, commercial, procurement, design and operations to support informed investment and tender decisions, review costs, and ensure sound

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in estimating, cost planning or commercial management within complex environments.
• Proven track record of leading teams and managing multiple priorities.
• Strong knowledge of construction, infrastructure, or related delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and review of detailed cost estimates, pricing strategies, budgets and tender submissions.
• Establish estimating methodologies, templates, procedures and performance measures.
• Review scope, drawings, specifications, schedules, quantities, supplier quotations and market data to identify cost drivers.
• Participate in bid reviews and present estimates to senior stakeholders; support negotiations.
• Maintain accurate cost databases and historical benchmarks; monitor estimating performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, safety, quality and ethical requirements.
