Job summary

Core & Main, based in St. Louis with nationwide reach, is seeking an Estimating Manager for the Critical Infrastructure Group.

You will oversee day-to-day estimating operations, manage workload, and ensure accurate material takeoffs for water, wastewater, and other infrastructure projects across regions. You will lead a team of estimators, partner with regional leadership, sales, and pre-bid teams to drive consistent practices, quality control, and strategic bid support.

Qualifications

• Oversee daily estimating operations for all project types and complexity levels.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and bid documents according to standards.
• Implement quality control to validate takeoff accuracy and reduce risk.
• Engage on design-build projects to provide material direction and constructability input.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to develop strategic bid approaches.
• Lead and mentor the estimating team to achieve performance goals.
