Job summary

FTI in El Paso, Texas, seeks an Engineering, Procurement and Construction Superintendent to oversee a project site and manage daily activities of contractors.

You will lead on-site supervision, safety, scheduling, quality control, cost and labor management, and client contact, ensuring adherence to contract documents.

Ideal candidates have experience managing large or multiple projects, strong knowledge of construction documents, and ability to organize a project to completion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4 years of experience in relative trades; 0-3 years in a similar position or proven successful project execution.
• Ability to travel 100% and work long hours including overtime.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment per standards.
• Manages and coordinates work to meet contract requirements, schedule, and quality.
• Develops and manages project schedules with all parties to meet milestones.
• Has full understanding of construction documents and subcontractors’ scope of work.
• Administers contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and related agreements to ensure terms are met.
• Maintains project files, timecards, field reports, and RFI/shop drawings.
