Job summary

ARB, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead engineering activities on EPC power generation and energy storage projects. Based at active project sites, you will coordinate design through commissioning, interfacing with owners, subcontractors, and regulators to meet schedule and contractual requirements.

You will supervise field engineers, manage document control, and guide constructability reviews, design optimization, and change management to ensure safety, quality, and on‑time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years EPC project experience, preferably in power generation, renewables, or energy storage.
• Experience supporting large EPC projects from engineering through construction.
• BESS experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of document control systems, RFIs, and submittals.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Bluebeam, and 3D model review software.
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6 schedules and ability to review engineering impacts to schedule.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering activities from design through construction and commissioning across multiple sites.
• Ensure deliverables meet contractual requirements, schedule commitments, and client expectations.
• Lead design reviews, progress meetings, and technical workshops.
• Manage project document control systems (RFIs, submittals, drawings, specs, engineering changes).
• Mentor field engineers supporting construction activities.
• Support commissioning with complete engineering documentation aligned to as-built conditions.
• Support change management, scope definition, and estimating input.
