Job summary

ARB, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer to support daily construction operations at multiple project sites across California and nearby states. You will provide on-site technical oversight under supervision, helping with planning, scheduling, and coordination of field activities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, and GC/EPC experience is a plus. Proficiency in MS Office, P6, and MS Project is expected, with strong communication and teamwork skills and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• GC/EPC experience in energy infrastructure is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling tools P6/MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation, review, and transmittal of project submittals and RFIs.
• Follow quality control procedures and inspection protocols to ensure design compliance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues on-site and coordinate with engineers and subcontractors.
• Support cost control with coding of timesheets and invoices.
• Track quantities and monitor progress of work packages.
• Provide planning and scheduling input as required.
• Track and compile records of materials, equipment, and labor for change orders.
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports for the project.
• Attend project meetings to provide technical input and recommendations.
