Job summary

International Motors, LLC seeks an experienced Lead Environmental Specialist to direct day-to-day EH&S operations at the plant, ensuring adherence to ISO 14001 and federal, state, and local regulations. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, coordinate training, and drive environmental programs across the site.

The role requires a strong background in environmental science/engineering, auditing, and project management, plus experience in automotive manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science/Engineering or related field.
• Master's degree preferred with EH&S experience.
• CHMM/REP or similar environmental certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day EH&S operations at the plant.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to maintain ISO 14001 standards.
• Lead environmental programs, training, and audits.
• Ensure regulatory compliance at local, state and federal levels.
• Engage with regulatory agencies and external partners.
