LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc. is seeking a Senior Environmental Specialist to oversee regulatory compliance across air, water, and waste programs at the Lansing facility.

You will work with EHS teams and external consultants to maintain current permits, reports, and documentation, with emphasis on MAERS, TSCA, SARA, and ISO14001. The role requires a 10+ year track record in manufacturing environmental leadership, strong collaboration with agencies, and the ability to manage complex

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental studies or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in a Senior Environmental role.
• Experience in TSCA reporting and SARA reporting.
• Chemistry background preferred.
• Certifications related to environmental regulations and reporting are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with local, state and federal agencies to ensure facility is current with regulations.
• Works with consultants to ensure activities are executed legally and timely.
• Establishes an air management monitoring plan and a database for routine monitoring of air pollutants.
• Oversees the installation and permitting of new and current equipment.
• Maintains a chemical substance inventory and management plan with Headquarters and regulators.
• Collaborates with teams to meet reporting requirements and manage SDS with Safety and Purchasing.
