International Motors, LLC is seeking a Lead Environmental Specialist at its San Antonio plant to oversee day-to-day environmental health and safety operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, ISO 14001 maintenance, and environmental program leadership in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing setting.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of environmental health and safety experience
• Master's degree and at least 1 year of environmental health and safety experience
• At least 5 years of environmental health and safety experience

Responsabilidades

• Partner with cross-functional department leaders to improve environmental processes.
• Create and maintain a strong Safety, Health and Environmental culture.
• Assist with sustaining ISO 14001 Certification.
• Facilitate Environmental training classes.
• Lead site environmental programs and projects with SME input.
• Perform environmental assessments and studies.
• Collaborate with Corporate Environmental Team on North America initiatives.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with all applicable plans and permits.
• Establish and communicate environmental goals with a clear roadmap to achieve them.
• Monitor air, water, waste and other environmental parameters and report as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities aligned with Manufacturing 4.0.
• Maintain team relationships within the cross-functional site team.
• Engage shop floor employees to reduce environmental risks through process improvements and investigations.
• Conduct water and environmental quality testing in outdoor environments.
• Execute and monitor Waste/Recyclables Management Plan.
• Serve as site liaison to regulatory agencies for environmental matters.
• Incorporate sustainability goals at site level.
