Job summary

International San Antonio Assembly Plant seeks a Lead Environmental Specialist to oversee day-to-day environmental operations, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This role champions a strong SH&E culture and drives ISO 14001 initiatives within the site.

The candidate will lead environmental programs, conduct assessments, and collaborate with the corporate team on North America initiatives, while promoting sustainable practices

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of environmental health and safety experience.
Master's degree and at least 1 year of environmental health and safety experience.
At least 5 years of environmental health and safety experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day environmental operations and compliance.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to improve environmental processes.
Maintain ISO 14001 Certification.
Lead environmental training programs.
Ensure regulatory permits and SOPs are followed.
Monitor air, water, waste, and other environmental parameters.
Collaborate with Corporate Environmental Team on NA initiatives.
