Centerville Health and Rehab is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to plan, organize, supervise and direct all environmental service operations ensuring a clean, safe and orderly resident living environment.

The role includes managing ES staff, training, and equipment purchases, while maintaining compliance with local, state and federal regulations. A supportive leadership team and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Associates’ degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least three years of supervisory experience in environmental services.
• Ability to read and interpret rules, manuals and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Mathematical skills for basic calculations and percentages.
• Knowledge of regulatory agencies and standards.
• Knowledge of infection control techniques.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct environmental services operations to keep resident areas clean and safe.
• Make staffing decisions, training, and assignments for ES staff.
• Develop systems to maximize housekeeping effectiveness.
• Conduct inspections to ensure safety and sanitation.
• Oversee purchasing of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Maintain records and reports per ES policies.
• Adhere to environmental, health and safety regulations.
• Participate in disaster planning and staff training.
