Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of housekeeping, laundry and floorcare practices.
• Managerial and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain budgets, records and reports.
• Ability to work with residents, family members, visitors and staff with tact.

Responsibilities

• Ensure housekeeping, laundry and floorcare tasks meet policy and quality standards.
• Oversee recruitment, interviewing and selection of housekeeping, laundry and floorcare personnel.
• Prepare written employee performance evaluations and recommendations for salary increases, terminations and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain knowledge of State and Federal regulations for housekeeping/environmental issues.
• Maintain and comply with department budgets and prudent ordering of supplies and equipment.
• Maintain Floorcare Schedule.
• Dispose of refuse daily in accordance with sanitation procedures.
• Protect residents' privacy and property at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
