Job summary

Terracon Consultants, Inc. seeks an experienced environmental engineer to lead site investigations, analyses and report writing for a broad client base. You will apply sound engineering principles, supervise field staff, and communicate findings to clients.

Requirements: PE registration; Bachelor's in Environmental or Civil Engineering (Master's preferred); 5–8 years' experience; valid driver's license. You will mentor junior staff, ensure safety and quality, and help identify remediation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects.
• Provide and lead continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects.
• Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates detailed phases of assigned project work.
• Mentor junior level scientists/engineers and lead teams on medium projects.
• Develop written proposals and review reports for clients.
• Direct field staff to sample, test and collect data and/or document site activities.
