Job summary

Terracon is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to provide engineering and consulting services for environmental projects, including site investigations, analyses and remediation recommendations. You will lead project teams, perform design calculations, prepare plans and reports, and communicate technical concepts to clients and regulators.

A Bachelor's in Environmental or Civil Engineering with 5–8 years' experience is required; a Master's degree is preferred, and a valid driver's

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years’ experience.
• Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering preferred.
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects; participate in pre-task planning.
• Provide and lead continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects; monitor and promote quality standards.
• Mentor junior level scientists/engineers and coordinate project phases.
• Perform complex analyses, calculations, and prepare written reports.
• Interact with clients and regulatory agencies to communicate findings and recommendations.
