Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Lead Consultant to join the Data Centers practice across North America. The role combines assistant project management with civil engineering, coordinating multidisciplinary inputs from early screening through due diligence and planning.

You will work with project managers, technical specialists, and client teams in a hybrid office setting in New England (Boston, Hartford, Portland, Westford).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, geology, chemistry, physics, biology, or related discipline.
• Environmental engineering candidates should have civil/site development or land development experience.
• Minimum of three years of relevant consulting experience, including civil/site development or multidisciplinary project delivery.
• Strong technical writing, organization, communication, problem-solving, and client-service skills; CAD/Civil 3D/Bluebeam/GIS experience; EIT/PE credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scope, schedule, budget, staffing, deliverables, and client expectations for data center due diligence.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams, maintain schedules, track actions, and provide status updates.
• Review site development concepts and master plans to support due diligence recommendations.
• Prepare and quality-review client reports, risk summaries, proposals, and cost estimates.
