Ramboll US Corporation invites applications for a Lead Consultant to join our Data Centers practice in the New England region. The role supports hyperscale, colocation, and mission-critical development projects across North America, coordinating site selection, feasibility, and due diligence with project managers, technical specialists, and client teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of relevant consulting experience, including civil/site development, due diligence, land development, or multidisciplinary project delivery.
• Working knowledge of site development principles, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, earthwork, development constraints, permitting, and interpretation of conceptual site plans, Civil 3D drawings, surveys, and technical studies.
• Strong technical writing, organization, communication, problem-solving, and client-service skills; experience with CAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, GIS, data centers, mission-critical, industrial projects, and/or EIT or PE credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scope, schedule, budget, staffing, deliverables, and client expectations for data center due diligence.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams and maintain project schedules; provide status updates.
• Review site development concepts, master plans, test fits, and utilities to support due diligence recommendations.
• Prepare and quality-review client-ready reports, risk summaries, proposals, work plans, and cost estimates.
