Job summary

Ramboll US Corporation is seeking a Lead Consultant to join our rapidly growing Data Centers practice across North America. This hybrid-based role supports site selection, due diligence, and early planning for hyperscale and colocation projects, coordinating with project managers, technical specialists, and clients.

You will apply civil engineering fundamentals to review master plans, site access, grading, stormwater, utilities, and other development factors while tracking scope, schedule, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, geology, chemistry, physics, biology, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• Environmental engineering candidates should have civil/site development or land development experience.
• Minimum of three years of relevant consulting experience including civil/site development, due diligence, land development, or multidisciplinary project delivery.
• Strong technical writing, organization, communication, problem-solving, and client-service skills; experience with CAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, GIS, data centers, mission-critical, industrial projects, and/or EIT or PE credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scope, schedule, budget, staffing, deliverables, and client expectations on data center due diligence projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams and maintain project schedules; provide status updates for timely execution.
• Review site development concepts, including master plans, test fits, constraints, utilities, grading, stormwater, permitting, and other technical factors.
