Job summary
Ramboll, a global engineering and consultancy firm, seeks a Lead Consultant to support hyperscale and mission-critical data center projects in New England. The role focuses on coordinating multidisciplinary teams, evaluating site development factors, and guiding early-stage planning across Boston, Hartford, Portland, or Westford.
The successful candidate has a civil engineering background, strong organizational skills, and a track record in due diligence and client service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years of relevant consulting experience.
- Experience with site development concepts and related software (CAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, GIS).
Responsibilities
- Assist with scope, schedule, budget, staffing, deliverables, and client expectations for data center due diligence.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams and maintain project schedules and action items.
- Review master plans, site constraints, utilities, grading, stormwater, and permitting considerations to support due diligence.
- Prepare and review client-ready reports, risk summaries, and cost estimates.
